Finding Myself Again

“I know who I want to be and that’s someone who holds themselves at a high standard and does what’s best for not only them self but the world around them. I'm happy to have found the person that I thought was gone.”

”Before coming to Narconon I was lost. I had given myself up to the opinions and discretion of doctors. I began taking Psych meds and lost who I was in the process. I then found myself stuck in a cycle of drinking and doing drugs. I couldn't face the fact that I was never going to be able to function without medication.

“The biggest mistake I was making was that I was looking for something external to complete me or make me happy. In reality, the only way I was going to find happiness was to look deep within myself.

“The people at Narconon gave me hope and with that hope, I made a commitment to the program. I learned I was living in my past. I learned to finally live in the present moment and find myself again. I was taking responsibility for my life and it showed me I was the one with the control. I was finally able to open up my eyes to the world around me and see things as they truly were.

“I may not be able to control everything in my life, but I do have control over how I let things affect me. I feel a sense of peace that I haven't felt in a very long time and a new found strength that I always knew was inside me.

“I know who I want to be and that’s someone who holds themselves at a high standard and does what’s best for not only them self but the world around them. I'm happy to have found the person that I thought was gone. I'm excited to live my life sober and ready to take on anything that comes my way.”
