Getting High on Suboxone

Suboxone

I was 19 and far from living a respectable lifestyle. Most of my time consisted of smoking weed, drinking, or finding other drugs to experiment with. I refused to go to college saying I wanted to see what the world was like. Sounded like a good idea when you say it that way but I spent a year bouncing between failing relationships and bad decisions, many of which included drug abuse.

One evening, a friend named John called me. He was trying to find heroin for this girl he wanted to sleep with. One of my other friends Mike was happy to oblige if she also bought him some.

Mike picked us up and we drove down to Miami. We waited in the car as he got the stuff and came back to the car. We drove back and went inside in an apartment the girl was grateful. Even after she found out only half the bags were real and the drug dealer had filled four of them with chicken bouillon.

I was pretty much ready to leave but she said “here, have a suboxone”, I think she may have thought I was a heroin addict but I didn't bother explaining to her I wasn’t. I stuck it in my mouth said nice meeting you and left. At this point, I wasn’t really addicted to anything and I certainly was not addicted to heroin to the point where I would have needed suboxone.

I left and went and hung out with a couple other friends. After about an hour it hit me, I couldn’t see straight, could barely walk and most certainly shouldn’t have been driving. Somehow, I made it. The last thing I remember was opening my front door. I must have made it to bed because I woke up there the next day at 5 pm confused, to be honest.

I write this just to share the fact that suboxone can be abused and it is important for people to be aware of this. One of those friends was later prescribed suboxone which he would regularly use only when he didn't have money for heroin. If you or someone you know is struggling with drug addiction of any kind give Narconon a call, I promise you won’t regret it.
