Nothing Can Stop Me Now

Before going to Narconon, I thought I was dead. Withdrawal helped me feel like a new person. When I got to sauna, I was feeling down and wasn’t ready for it. This went on for two weeks. Then I started running all the drug residues out and all the harmful toxins trapped in my system. After spending time in the sauna, I got my energy back and felt much better physically and mentally. I had a mental and spiritual advance, and I felt better for not wanting to do drugs anymore.

After completing sauna, I went to objectives, which wasn’t easy. However, I had some good realizations and regained abilities, and was able to learn a lot. I regained the ability to be aware I was doing things to myself and how to change the positions of things. I could listen and take commands and directions from someone else with a relaxed mind. I learned how to be happy in the present without thinking about the past. I learned to be oriented with my environment and that my body is my own and needs to be taken care of. After completing objectives, I went on to life skills where I did ups and downs. I handled the people in my life, which was difficult for me, but I felt much better afterward.

I then moved on to the next part of life skills, where I took responsibility for all my wrongdoings to myself and my loved ones. When I was done, I realized how easy it was and felt like I got a lot off my chest. I then moved on to the last part, where I learned who my friends and enemies were. Finally, I had to confront the people who were not good for me and tell them things they needed to work on. At the end of everything I’ve done, I feel like nothing can stop me now. It’s just going to keep on getting better.

“I want anyone struggling with addiction to know to keep your head up. It will get better; you have to trust in the program. Because if it can help me, it can help you too; you just have to want it.”

I felt like I was on a long boat ride throughout this program. Some days were harder than others, but the wind calmed down. I know I still have things to work on when I get home. I want anyone struggling with addiction to know to keep your head up. It will get better; you have to trust in the program. Because if it can help me, it can help you too; you just have to want it.
