Life After Two Years Sober
B.W. was introduced to drugs by a friend when he was 15. After several years and multiple treatment centers, he overdosed and was found unresponsive on the side of the road. It was at this point that he went to the Narconon program. Here he is in his own words:
“You don’t have to wake up and struggle to stay clean every day.”
“I am two years clean of drugs and alcohol. During those two years, I have grown more than I could have ever imagined and now know what it means to live a fulfilling life. Even though life is still full of problems and challenges, I have learned how to grow from these experiences and have found a path I am happy with.
“I still use what I learned at Narconon every day. That, for me, started with the willingness to be responsible for my condition. From there, I was able to change and I now have a great relationship with my family, good friends, and a career.
“You don’t have to wake up and struggle to stay clean every day. I remember times when I had a month or two clean but it was always such a daunting challenge and I am here to tell you that there is a solution. I learned this at Narconon.
