My Success Story of Getting Sober

That is what this is – Success!

When I first arrived at Narconon, I was at my all-time low in my addiction. I couldn’t see past lying, being sick, and living a life of misery, and I was full of so much pain. I felt so hurt inside I didn’t think I could ever have a normal life.

I was in the withdrawal unit for 14 days until I felt free from the immediate effects of my drug use. At first, I didn’t want to look at anything in my life, so I would keep myself as busy as possible. I had lost my feeling of self-worth. Yet, as I progressed through the Narconon rehab program and stayed active and productive, I started feeling better about myself. That made me want to work even harder on myself. Now that I have completed the program, It is crazy to remember some of the hard times. But the most amazing thing I remember is the confidence I felt when I realized

“NO MATTER HOW HARD IT GOT, I PUSHED THROUGH!”

At times I felt it was so difficult and thought this is going to kill me! But now I thank God for another chance to have a sober life. After the sauna portion of the program, I can say I truly felt restored. I have done so much in 90 days it doesn’t seem real I am done!

“It is ‘priceless’ compared to the things I have gotten in the past because now I have a ‘NEW LIFE!’”

I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity in life. It is “priceless” compared to the things I have gotten in the past because now I have a “NEW LIFE!”

Everyone at Narconon is a hero in my book. I love all the staff. I could not have done it alone.
