Solving the Puzzle of My Life

For years I struggled with drug abuse, and eventually, after many failed attempts at sustaining sobriety, I gave up hope on ever living a drug-free life, and sometimes, even life itself. I had a good life, loving family, decent grades, friends, I played soccer overseas, I went to a good college on an athletic scholarship, and on the outside, everything looked “normal,” but inside there was a kid who didn’t know who he was.

When drugs came into my life it seemed like I’d found the missing piece of my puzzle, but in reality, all the other pieces of my puzzle became subjugated to the drugs.

Before I knew it, my life was trounced by substances, and I couldn’t escape. I would have never imagined that the next ten years would be a horrifying series of failed treatment attempts, multiple stints in New York’s penal system, financial despair, deteriorating health, overdoses and emotional turmoil. Finally, I decided to try something different and came to Narconon—a drug-free, holistic approach to substance abuse.

Narconon handles physical addiction and works one on one with those struggling to address the underlying issues that continue to drive people to use drugs. I’ve been to just about every type of program there is and nothing came close to making me feel as comfortable with myself as Narconon did.

I believe in this program so much that now I work here and dedicate my time to getting people the help they actually need. If you or someone you love needs help, please call Narconon.
