Three Years Clean and Loving It!
I went to Narconon in the spring of 2021, which saved my life. After years of being prescribed narcotics by doctors and being sent to pain management, I developed a dependency. When I was twenty-four, my dad passed unexpectedly and I started to use drugs to avoid confronting my problems.
By that point, I had found the wrong crowd of “friends” through pain management, and I stopped going through the doctors. I started using fentanyl I found on the street. My life completely spiraled out of control, and it wasn’t until I was evicted, lost custody of my daughter, and was stuck living out of hotels and cars with people I didn’t like and barely knew that I realized something had to change. I was lucky enough to have someone to call who recommended Narconon.
Going to Narconon was the best decision I’ve ever made. The staff is fantastic because they not only care but also understand. Everyone knows what it’s like to be on both sides of sobriety, which makes all the difference! At Narconon, I learned all of the basic life skills I had either not mastered or far from mastered earlier. I realized I had more control over my life than I ever thought. I learned to take responsibility and accountability for what I should do and forgive others and myself. Even today, I still use the techniques I learned at Narconon to overcome anxiety, confront problems, and fix my problems. I have become the best version of myself, and it’s only getting better.
“Since returning home from Narconon, I have become close to and earned the respect of my family. I have become an Operations Manager, and I got married! I am a trustworthy, responsible, caring, hard-working, and driven version of myself that even I respect.”
Since returning home from Narconon, I have become close to and earned the respect of my family. I have become an Operations Manager, and I got married! I am a trustworthy, responsible, caring, hard-working, and driven version of myself that even I respect. I continue to earn the respect of those around me every day. I continue to further my career and provide a loving home for my husband and our children. I know what it feels like to be hopeless and think your life is over, but it’s not! There is always a way out. You have more control than you think and must learn how to take it. Narconon is the best program because it puts you in the driver’s seat and teaches you how to control your journey through life. That may seem daunting to some, but it is the key to turning your life around. I guarantee it.
