Jeff Rowlands, CAS
Jeff was born and raised in Easton, Pennsylvania and after graduating high school, attended the Northampton Community College, focusing on prerequisites towards a career in Architecture then later Nursing when he decided to enlist in the Army. While in the Army, he trained as a combat medic and a Hazmat specialist. After his discharge, he worked as a lab technician in New Jersey, later relocating to Louisiana.
Sober for 6 years, he completed the Narconon program in 2012. He became certified by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Officers and began as a Security Officer at Narconon New Life Retreat. He was later certified as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor—Certified Addiction Specialist in 2014 and gives back by assisting others to uncover the life situation(s) that resulted in their abuse of drugs or alcohol. In 2017, he became certified as a Crisis Prevention Interventionist through the Crisis Prevention Institute.
Jeff’s primary focus is to ensure each person can apply all the modules of the Narconon program for them to become sober, valuable, contributing members of society. He is extremely passionate about this role in helping others towards sobriety and he is often someone the students have good rapport with for his care, compassion and helpfulness.
He recently purchased a house in a neighboring community where he lives with his fiancé Tara and their two cats, Izzy and Louie.
